CommunityGuidelines

A 1 on 1 video chat works when everyone feels safe and respected. These guidelines keep 1v1Cam a good place to meet real people — here is what we expect.

The basics

Treat the person on the other side of the camera the way you would want to be treated. Most of it comes down to respect and consent.

Be respectful and friendly. Everyone is here to meet someone new — keep conversations civil, and remember there is a real person on the other end. Consent matters at every moment: if someone is not comfortable, stop, and use skip to move on.

You are always in control of your own experience too. Your camera stays off until you choose, and you can mute, skip, block or leave any chat in a single tap.

Not allowed

Anyone under 18

1v1Cam is strictly for adults. Minors are not permitted, and accounts will be removed.

Harassment or hate

No abuse, threats, hate speech, or harassment of any kind.

Non-consensual content

No recording, sharing, or pressuring anyone into anything they have not agreed to.

Illegal activity

Anything illegal, or attempts to scam, solicit, or exploit others, is prohibited.

Reporting and enforcement

If someone breaks these rules, report them — there is a report and block control in every chat, and reports go straight to live moderation, which runs around the clock. You can also email [email protected] with the time and details.

We take action on violations, including warnings, suspensions and permanent bans. Keeping one-on-one video chat safe is a shared effort, and reporting helps protect the whole community.
